This September, Prince Harry will intensify his philanthropic efforts as he heads to New York City for Climate Week, aligning with the United Nations’ General Assembly. The Duke of Sussex will engage with several organizations closely linked to his late mother, Princess Diana, including African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award, and Travalyst.

Harry’s visit will spotlight his commitment to causes championed by Diana, particularly landmine removal through The HALO Trust, an initiative Diana supported famously in 1997. Harry’s ongoing support for this cause includes revisiting Angola and the area now named “Princess Diana Street.”

In addition to his HALO Trust involvement, Harry will support The Diana Award, recognizing young community leaders, and Travalyst, a nonprofit promoting sustainable travel he co-founded. His brother, Prince William, who also attended Climate Week last year, has yet to confirm his attendance at this year’s Earthshot Prize Innovation Summit in Manhattan on September 24.
